Drafted to a labor battalion; German occupation, March 1944; reporting to the labor battalion; labor in a factory in Alsfuzito under reasonable conditions; escape; arrival in Budapest with a forged document; joining a labor battalion in Budapest; escape when the battalion departed from Budapest; detention by the German Army and transfer to the Arrow Cross men, late December 1944; deportation to the Budapest Ghetto; life in the ghetto for a few weeks until the liberation by the Red Army, January 1945.
Increasing interest in Zionism; departure, late 1945; wanderings in Austria and Germany; work in Belgium until his aliya to Israel, 1949; absorption.
