Hungarian Army occupation of Simleul Silvaniei, 1940; life under Hungarian occupation including antisemitic legislation, the confiscation of her family's business and the deportation of men to forced labor; increase in the displays of antisemitism among the population in the area; German Army occupation of Simleul Silvaniei, March 1944; deportation to the Simleul Silvaniei Ghetto [that was] established in a brick factory; deportation to Auschwitz-Birkenau, one month later; life in Birkenau; transfer to a labor camp near Luebberstedt; camp life including labor producing aircraft ammunition; supply of food by Red Cross personnel who arrived to Luebeck; transfer to Ploen; the Germans flee; liberation by the British Army, 05 May 1945.
