Entry of the Hungarian Army into Baia Mare, 1940; draft [of men] to labor; German Army occupation of Baia Mare, March 1944; life under German occupation including decree regarding wearing a yellow badge; deportation to the Baia Mare Ghetto; life in a brick factory, 1944; deportation to Birkenau, approximately one month later; life in Birkenau; transfer to Auschwitz, one month later; camp life including selections and labor unloading coal from vans; sexual exploitation by one of the Kapo men; receives extra food; death march to Dachau, January 1945; murder [by the Germans] [of people] en route; receives packages from the Red Cross; evacuation of the camp to a forest in the Munich area; disappearance of the guards; liberation by the US Army, May 1945.
