Red Army invasion [of Romania]; deportation of her family to the Soviet Union; her mother's sister obtains a permit for the family to move back, as Romanians of German origin; life with her Christian grandmother and grandfather; escape from Cernauti in the direction of the villages, 1941; arrival along with Gypsies [?]; wanderings due to fear of being informed on; her mother's request to a British officer in Mandatory Palestine to obtain a certificate for the witness; witness receives the aliya documents in Bucharest. Aliya to Eretz Israel on the "Transylvania" ship as the first legal immigrant [?], 1946.
