Outbreak of the war; in hiding with three Jewish girl friends, for several weeks; deportation of her family to Treblinka, 1943; joins the partisans with the liberation of Yugoslavia. Move back to Bitolj, 1944; marriage; move to Skoplje; remarriage, 1953.
