Her childhood; placed in a Jewish orphanage in Sarny along with her sisters; life in Sarny including beatings, until summer 1941.
Outbreak of the war between Germany and the Soviet Union, June 1941; escape of the orphanage staff; announcement by the Soviets regarding the departure of a last train; move with the girls and her two sisters via Ukraine and the Soviet Union until arrival to Uzbekistan; life in a large orphanage established in a forest, including hunger, illness, typhus disease and the attitude of the Soviets; life in the orphanage until being found by her older sister and her brother.
Move with her four siblings to Stettin; Hashomer Hatzair "kibbutz"; illegal aliya attempt to Eretz Israel on the "Exodus" ship, 1947; life in Germany for approximately one year; aliya to Israel during the War of Independence, 1948; life on a kibbutz.
