Testimony of Haim Tibor Schaimovtiz Sharon, born in Vizkelet, Czechoslovakia, 1932, regarding his experiences in Trnava, Sered and Theresienstadt His father's work as an agronomist and manager of an agricultural farm; his father receives a certificate as an essential worker, 1942. Deportation of family members to camps; SS officers live in his family's home; conversion to Christianity in a Catholic church; escape to Hungary with his mother, early 1944; move back to Czechoslovakia due to not receiving help; Slovak National Uprising, August 1944; his father's escape to fields; capture of his father after he is informed on; deportation of his father to Auschwitz; witness' temporary hiding in the cellar of a home with his mother; move back to the family's farm in Trnava, March 1945; detention with his mother and grandmother; deportation to Sered; transfer to Theresienstadt, 1945; camp life including hunger; mortality of inmates [who arrived] from a death march; liberation. Move back to Trnava; life in Trnava including keeping his Christian identity, and joining Hashomer Hatzair; placed in a children's home in France, 1949; aliya to Kibbutz Gan Shmuel in Israel.
