Life under German occupation including expulsion from the school and decree regarding wearing a yellow badge; move with her mother to the Zona Occupata (Free Zone) with help from a Yugoslavian laborer; informed on by a friend; deportation of her father to an unknown destination; life in the Zona Occupata, including the attitude of the Italians; transfer to Rab Island by Italian soldiers; receives physical and emotional help from the Italians; her mother joins the partisans; transfer back to Yugoslavia [from Rab Island] by Yugoslavian partisans; Jewish Brigade people join the partisans; escape to the mountains; receives a letter from her mother via a messenger; meets her mother in a village; receiving of weapons and food from British paratroopers; liberation. Aliya to Eretz Israel.
