Hungarian Army occupation [of Gheorgheni], 1940; life under Hungarian occupation including decree regarding wearing a yellow badge; antisemitism, 1942; deportation to a brick factory in Reghin, 1944; deportation to Auschwitz-Birkenau; transfer to Plaszow, several days later; labor in mines; transfer to Wischau; labor cleaning for the Germans; transfer to labor in an aircraft factory in Langenbielau; liberation by the Red Army, 09 May 1945. Receives help from the JDC; life after the war; aliya to Israel, 1964.
