Hungarian occupation of Slatioara, 1940; draft of her father into the [Hungarian] army; German Army occupation of Slatioara, 1944; transfer to the synagogue, the day after Pesach [April 1944]; deportation to the Dragomiresti Ghetto, the next day; Dragomiresti Ghetto life including overcrowding, for approximately six weeks; deportation to Auschwitz; camp life including punishment and labor dismantling the crematorium; labor outside the camp; rescue from the selections by a Christian woman; transfer on the last train to Bergen-Belsen; camp life including typhus and tuberculosis disease; liberation, 15 April 1945. Convalescence; wanderings en route to Eretz Israel via Italy [and illegal aliya attempt]; detention in Cyprus; aliya to Israel; life in Israel.
