German Army occupation of Budapest, March 1944; life under German occupation including the imposition of anti-Jewish decrees; move to a marked house on Népszínház utca Street no. 49; murder of Jews in the marked house, August 1944; move to another marked house on Miksa utca Street [?] until October 1944; receives Swiss Schutzpass, protective passports; move to an area under Swiss protection, November 1944; murder of a group of children on the Danube River bank by a group of Arrow Cross men; rescue from murder while in the group of children; liberation by the Red Army, January 1945; looting.
Move back to their home in Budapest; joins the Habonim movement including [learning about] Zionism, scout activities and content relating to Eretz Israel; joins an aliya training group; preparations for aliya to Eretz Israel; capture in Bratislava; detention; release by a prison guard; life in a camp in the Rothschild Hospital in Vienna; move to Bari, Italy; aliya to Israel on the "Atzmaut" ship, 1949; life in Israel.
