Deportation of his father to labor camps by the Hungarians, 1943; death of his father toward the end of the war, 1945; German Army occupation of Budapest, 1944; deportation [of Jews] to labor camps; placed in a Red Cross protected house by his grandfather, along with his sister, 1944; escape from the protected house, with help from a Christian Hungarian, to a protected house of Raoul Wallenberg; return of his mother, 1944; liberation by the Red Army, 1945. Placed in orphanages in Budapest and Szeged, 1946; placed in a foster family in Transylvania; move back to Budapest, 1947; life after the war; aliya to Israel, 1950; life in Israel.
