Outbreak of the war; German Army occupation of Sulita; deportation of young women to Poland; escape to Mateszalka with her sister; life under the shelter of the community including housekeeping work, her life, and food; deportation of her mother and six siblings to Auschwitz; murder of her mother and six siblings in Auschwitz; deportation of the witness and her sister to Auschwitz; camp life including forced labor moving rocks in a wheelbarrow; meets her father; receives additional labor in a kitchen; smuggles food to her father; transfer to Plaszow; camp life including forced labor outside the camp; approach of the Allied forces; death march to Bergen-Belsen, including typhus disease; liberation by the British Army. Receives medical treatment; move to Bratislava; life in Bratislava including marriage and the birth of her daughter; aliya to Israel, 1949; life in Israel.
