Hungarian Army occupation of Volove, 1939; life under Hungarian rule including antisemitism; anti-Jewish legislation and policies, 1940; confiscation of his father's textile store; deportation to forced labor for the Hungarian Army including in Rimavska Sobota, Eger and Bistrica; escape; liberation by the Red Army in Miskolc; transfer to a Soviet POW camp, 1944; escape; in hiding in the mountains in Sajokaza. Move back to Volove, 1945; receives knowledge regarding the murder of his family members in Auschwitz; move to Bucharest, 1945; reunion with his brother; move to Volove, 1945; move to Usti Nad Labem, 1946; aliya to Israel, 1949; life in Israel.
