Call to leave the city due to impending battles, July 1941; escape; move back home; handing over of Transnistria to Romania; anti-Jewish decrees; arrival of refugees from Bessarabia; establishment of the Mogilev Ghetto, 1942; Mogilev Ghetto life including mortality, air-raids and forced labor; initiation of extra labor in order to add to their livelihood; order by Antonescu to ease the Jews' situation, September [1942?]; rescue by a German soldier; typhus disease; hunger; arrival of the Red Army; the German soldiers flee; explosion of the bridge over the Dniester River; acts of revenge against Romanian soldiers and Ukrainians; enlists in the Red Army, May 1944; service in the Soviet infantry and navy. Release from the military after eight years of service, 1951; move to Cernauti; life in Cernauti including antisemitism; witness starts a family; aliya to Israel, December 1971; life in Israel.
