Testimony of Shlomit Frida (Bornstein) Gidron, born in Bielsko, Poland, 1938, regarding her experiences in Bielsko, Lodz, the Bochnia Ghetto, Oradea, Bucharest and other places German Army occupation of Bielsko, 1939; death of her mother from illness; move to Lodz with her father, 1940; deportation to the Bochnia Ghetto, 1941; Bochnia Ghetto life including her father's labor in a workshop; in hiding during "Aktions"; smuggled from the ghetto with her mother's parents to the Czech border, 1943; illegally crosses the border into Hungary, 1943; life while using forged documents as Christian Polish refugees in Oradea, under Hungarian rule; German Army occupation of Hungary, 1944; her family's escape to Bucharest, 1944; obtains certificates; move in the direction of Eretz Israel on the "Bulbul" ship; the ship lands on a sandbar near the shores of Turkey; aliya to Eretz Israel via Istanbul, Syria and Lebanon, 1944. Life in Israel.
