Testimony of Abraham Zrenchni, born in Lukow, Poland, 1920, regarding his experiences in Warsaw, Miedzyrzec, Kamchatka, Waldenburg and other places Move of his family to Warsaw during the 1930s; witness learns in a yeshiva in Miedzyrzec. Outbreak of the war, September 1939; wounded by shrapnel; stays locked up at home; fear of being captured for labor; takes responsibility for obtaining food for his family members; move from the Warsaw Ghetto to the Aryan side; makes the decision to escape to the East; meets with other escapees in the forests; illegally crosses the border into the Soviet Union; move by trains to the East; labor camp life in the Kamchatka area, 1942-1944; labor in agriculture in Caucasus. Move back to Poland, 1946; establishment of a Bnei Akiva settlers' group in Waldenburg; illegal aliya attempt on the "Exodus" ship; transfer to Germany; legal aliya to Israel, 1948; life in Israel.
