Testimony of Abraham Grinberg, born in Wizajny, Poland, 1928, regarding his experiences in Vilkaviskis, Klibari, Kupiskis, Dvinsk and a kolkhoz in the Suvorovskaya area German occupation, 1939; deportation of all the Jews from Wizajny to the Lithuanian border, 1939; illegally crossing the border to Vilkaviskis, Lithuania with help from the Jewish community; transfer to Klibari; Soviet occupation of the area, 1940; deportation to Kupiskis, Lithuania by the Soviets, 1940; outbreak of the war between the Soviet Union and Germany; escape to Dvinsk, Latvia, 1941; losing his family and finding them again in the border city of Zilupe, Latvia; transfer of the family to a kolkhoz in the Suvorovskaya area, 1941; draft of his father to the Red Army; sending of his father to the front, 1941; life in the kolkhoz, including labor until the end of the war, 1945. Repatriation to Breslau, Poland; joins the Hapoel Hamizrachi aliya training kibbutz; move to Czechoslovakia and Austria through Bericha; life in the Wegscheid Linz DP camp in Austria, 1946; move to Villa Byata in Italy; move to Milan; unsuccessful aliya attempt on the ship, "Hatikvah"; detention in the winter camp in Cyprus, 1947; aliya to Israel, 1948.
