Outbreak of the war, 1941; life under Italian rule without any special problems; her father's help in hiding Jewish British Army soldiers; German occupation; taking advantage of her father's connections with the partisans and obtaining forged documents for the family, autumn 1943; transfer of the family to the East by the partisans; attempts to escape in the direction of Turkey by boat; return to Athens with her boyfriend in order to obtain money for the journey; informed on; escape back to the family; transfer to Turkey by boat and from there to Syria by train; attempt to draft her boyfriend; marriage. Arrival of the family in Eretz Israel, 1944, life in Eretz Israel.
