Early childhood as an only child to deaf parents; life in a deaf environment; attendance at a school for the deaf.
Outbreak of the war, 1941; return to the school and being evacuated with them; wanderings for about a year until Tashkent, summer 1942; studies in the same framwork with local children joining the school; meeting with her parents who came to the school; labor in a kolkhoz.
Return with her parents to Kiev at the end of the war; continuation of studies and life in Kiev; emigration with her husband and children to the United States, 1978; aliya to Israel, 1991.
