Childhood in an ultra-Orthodox family in Ghiriseni; relocation to Cluj, 1937; joining the Mizrahi youth movement; move to Budapest, 1940; deportation to the ghetto with other family members, March 1944; escape from the ghetto following receipt of information regarding an expected deportation in the direction of Vienna; removal of her sister from a protected house; in hiding with the help of a Hungarian acquaintance using a false identity until the end of the war.
