Her family's escape to Rawa Ruska, which was under Soviet control, with the German occupation, September 1939; deportation of her family to the Talalayevka labor camp in Siberia, the Soviet Union, 1940; transfer of the family to Salair and Biysk, 1941; life in Siberia until 1945.
Move to Szczecin, Poland, 1945; move to a camp near Linz, Austria with help from Bericha, 1946; aliya to Israel, 1948.
