Testimony of Klara Renee (Vromen) Keren, born in Enschede, the Netherlands, 1931, regarding her experiences in S Gravenhage and in various hiding places Father makes aliya to Eretz Israel, 1933; life with mother and brother in S Gravenhage. Occupation, 1940; deportation of her grandfather to Westerbork; his release to manage the textile factory under his ownership; deportation order for witness and her brother; claims of her mother to have Mandatory Palestinian (Eretz Israel) citizenship; exemption from deportation; marriage of her aunt to a non-Jew and his activities in the underground; declaration by her aunt that she is not Jewish; her uncle's help in locating various hiding places; moving between hiding places due to searches by the Gestapo; being hidden by the Hoefs family in Utrecht during the years 1943-1945 (later to be honored as Righteous Among the Nations); liberation, 1945. Reunion with her family; aliya to Israel, 1952.
