German occupation; life under occupation; separation from the family, 1942; transfer to the St. Raphael institution in southeast France; transfer to Moissac and to Beaulieu due to the situation; from there to a family of farmers in St. Reine; transfer to St. Pierre under the protection of the Church from fear of being informed on, until 1944; liberation of France.
Return to Paris; help from the JDC; information on the fate of his parents; aliya training in Aix-en-Provence; aliya to Israel, 1951.
