Testimony of Lora (Fink) Noy, born in Bielsko, Poland, 1927, regarding her experiences in Lwow, labor camp in the Soviet Union, Siberia, Samarkand and aliya to Eretz Israel, 1943, as part of the Teheran Children Family; studies in a Jewish school; the synagogue and youth groups in the community; membership in Hanoar Hatzioni; closing of schools by the Soviets; brother makes aliya to Eretz Israel, 1934 and returns to Poland. Outbreak of the war, September 1939; transfer of family to Kielce and escape to the East; arrival in Lwow via Rowne; deportation by train to the East to Russia; the prolonged trip; life in a labor camp and forced labor in the forests; liquidation of the camp and transfer to Siberia; confiscation of valuables; travel to Samarkand; her sisters contract typhus; distress of starvation; death of her father from starvation; life in an orphanage in a Polish monastery; transfer to Iran. Establishment of an orphanage in Teheran; children and their escorts set sail to Karachi, India, arrival in Haifa, 1943; the reception in Eretz Israel; assigning and moving the children to various institutions.
