Life after the German occupation, 1941; detention in the railroad station; deportation of the witness' father to Stara Gordwa and Jasenovac with the men; deportation of the children and women to the Loborgrad camp, and their return to detention in the railroad station in Sarajevo; deportation to the Djakovo camp, 1941; rescue of the children by the Jewish community in Osijek; separation from his mother; transfer to a Jewish family in Vinkovice; transfer to Osijek; transfer to an old age home in Zagreb when the road to Split is cut off; deportation of the residents of the old age home to Jasenovac; rescue by Mr. Weiss, the director of the old age home; hiding of the witness in Zagreb; transfer to Split, which is under Italian control, with false documents; life in Split; German occupation; liberation by the Yugoslavian partisans, 1944.
