Testimony of Yosef Nissimov, born in Sofia, Bulgaria, 1933, regarding his experiences in Sofia and Karnobat Childhood in a traditional home; preparations for aliya to Eretz Israel; cancellation of the triip. Deterioraton of the living conditions of the Jews, 1939; selling of the house and preparations for the future in light of increasing displays of anti-Semitism; legislation protecting the nation and worsening conditions, January 1941; yellow badge;deportation of his father to work within the "Work Obligation" framework , and his return a few days later; demonstration protesting deportation of the Jews of Sofia, May 1943; deportation of his family to Karnobat; life with a Jewish family for approximately a month and revival of difficulties; transfer to a Bulgarian family; labor in a factory; deportation of his father to Sweden with the framework of the "Work Obligation"; his father's release; liberation, September 1944; return to Sofia, early 1945. Aliya to Israel, 1949.
