Move to Lyons; work for OSE (Children's Aid Society) as a counselor in a Holocaust survivor children's home; unsuccessful attempt at aliya to Eretz Israel on the ship, "HaMaapil HaAlmoni"; detention in Cyprus, 1947; aliya to Eretz Israel, February 1948.
