Annexation to Hungary; restrictions on the Jews; numerous clausus; life in Cluj and external education; arrest of her mother due to help to a Communist in Budapest; release of her mother in exchange for lots of money; German occupation, March 1944; deportation to the Baia Mare Ghetto; ghetto life; receives offers to hide the family in a forest; deportation on a train to Auschwitz; camp life; selection; murder of the father; observing Yom Kippur; receives help from her mother; transfer to Weisswasser; camp life; labor in a Telefunken factory for the production of aircraft parts; labor with French POWs; guarded by SS women; liberation by the Red Army, 06 May 1945. Convalescence; return to Romania; life in Romania; education; aliya to Israel, 1969.
