Kristallnacht, November 1938; help from a neighbor who was an officer; detention of her father; deportation of her father to Buchenwald; return of her father to Frankfurt am Main; transfer to Switzerland together with her sister and brother with the Kindertransport, 1939; transfer to a Jewish institution in Heiden; life in Heiden; correspondence with her parents; deportation and murder of her parents in Riga, 1941; life in an institution, until 1942; life in Lucerne; work as a housemaid for a Jewish family; end of the war.
