Receipt of information regarding her family's escape as part of the evacuation, June 1941; her birth (apparently en route); life in Alma Ata with her family; her mother's work in the fields and telling fortunes; murder of her father during his military service in the Red Army. Return to Poland as part of the repatriation, 1946; life in Kostopol including receiving threats from anti-Semites; escape to western Poland; transfer to the protection of the Zionist coordination; difficulty in being separated from her mother; move to Germany with a children's house; aliya to Eretz Israel, April 1948; absorption in Kibbutz Ein Harod.
