Testimony of Israel Rebchinski Raviv, born in Cernauti, Romania, 1921, regarding his experiences in the Cernauti Ghetto and Mogilev-Podolski Ghetto Hasidic family. Soviet occupation, 1940; German occupation, summer 1941; deportation to the Cernauti Ghetto, Sukkot (October) 1941; deportation to Mogilev-Podolski on the first transport; Mogilev-Podolski Ghetto life including typhus illness in his entire family, early 1942; death of his father and sister; liberation by the Red Army, 1944. Return to Cernauti; move to Bucharest, 1945; joins the Hamizrachi movement; illegal aliya attempt to Eretz Israel, late 1947; detention in Cyprus; aliya to Israel, February 1949.
