Outbreak of the war; Soviet occupation; restrictions on the Jews and their businesses; nationalization of property; German occupation; deportation to the Lwow Ghetto, 1942; "Aktion" and deportation; murder of her parents; stealing of property and valuables; forced labor at a sawmill; information regarding the murder of Jews and their burial in a mass grave; life in hiding with help from her brother and sister; obtains forged Aryan documents; move from hiding place to hiding place in the homes of Ukrainian and Polish families in exchange for agricultural labor and serving as a nanny; permission from the Ukrainian mayor; liberation by the Red Army. Return to Lwow; aliya to Israel, 1957.
