Life before the war;
Soviet occupation; birth of her brother; outbreak of the Soviet-German war; German occupation, summer 1941; pogroms; establishment of the Widze Ghetto, November 1941; ghetto life next to the fence; labor of her father in producing rope; activity of her parents in the Jewish community; advice given by her father to the youth regarding escape from the ghetto; liquidation of the ghetto; January 1943; being smuggled together with her parents by Mr. Eduard Fahalka, a non-Jewish friend of her father; transfer to a barn in the home of the acquaintance, Mr. Fahalka, in a nearby village; Mr. Fahalka's failed attempt to return to the ghetto and smuggle out the rest of the family including her toddler brother; escape to a distant building in Mr. Fahalka's home; life in a tunnel dug out by the friend under the building; escape to the forest; life in hiding at the edge of the forest; liberation, summer 1944;
Return to Widze; aliya to Israel, 1950; maintaining prolonged contact with the family of the rescuers.
