Draft of her father to forced labor, 1941; drowning of her mother's family in the "Struma" ship; deportation of the witness' family to Vidin, May 1943; help from the Jewish community; move to Ferdinand due to fear of the spread of malaria disease; community activities; liberation by the Red Army, 09 September 1944. Return home; preparations for aliya to Eretz Israel, 1946-1947; visit by David Ben-Gurion; aliya to Israel via Yugoslavia on the "Kefalos" ship, 1948.
