Annexation to Hungary, forced labor in Baia Mare, early 1944; deportation to the Baia Mare Ghetto for two weeks, March 1944; deportation by train to Auschwitz-Birkenau, June 1944; transfer to Warsaw; labor dismantling houses in the Warsaw Ghetto and sending the parts to Germany, July 1944; transfer in the direction of Germany as far as Kutno on foot, August 1944; transfer to Dachau by train; transfer to Muehldorf, August 1944; camp life including labor building subterranean bunkers in a forest; illness and hospitalization in a military clinic, November 1944; liberation by the US Army, May 1945. Return to Dej; receives information regarding the fate of his family; aliya to Eretz Israel, August 1946.
