German occupation, 1939; murder of his siblings; deportation to Przemyslany including transfer to the San River; life in Przemyslany; German occupation, June 1941; burning of people in the synagogue; deportation to the Przemyslany Ghetto, July 1942; Przemyslany Ghetto life including an "Aktion", July 1942; brings food to the ghetto as a worker for the Judenrat; "Aktion" and finds a hiding place in a bunker, November 1942; life in the bunker; escape from the ghetto with his younger brother; search for a hiding place in the home of acquaintances; finds a hiding place in a forest under the protection of the forest's watchman; discovery of the hiding place, and his escape; meets partisans, June-July 1943; liberation by the Red Army, summer 1944. Return to Krzywcza; drafted into the Red Army; escape to Krakow; aliya to Israel, 1949.
