Outbreak of the war, September 1939; escape to Przemysl with her family; life in Przemysl; transfer by the Soviets to Lwow with her family and refugees; deportation to Siberia; life en route including the exchange of gold for food; mutual help between the deportees; transfer to Asino; life in Asino including labor by men in sawmills; transfer to Bukhara, June 1941; life in Bukhara in the home of a Jewish family; establishment of a Jewish school by refugees from Poland; persecution of her father by the Soviet regime; her father is hidden by the homeowner; relations between the refugees and the local population; end of the war, May 1945.
Return to Poland, 1946; move to Austria; move to France; aliya to Eretz Israel, 1947.
