German-Romanian occupation, 1941; deportation to Mogilev-Podolski on foot with her mother; transfer to Kachkovka; life in a kolkhoz in Kachkovka including agricultural labor; her mother's death; transfer to an orphanage in Shargorod by the Jewish community; transfer to an orphanage in Bacau, 1944. Move to Bucharest, 1945; aliya to Israel on the ship, "Pan Crescent", 1948.
