Testimony of Baruch Bruno Kornblum, born in Cernauti, Romania, 1925, regarding his experiences in the Cernauti Ghetto and in hiding in Cernauti Life before the war. Soviet occupation, 1940; confiscation of Jewish owned property and businesses; murder of his grandfather and two uncles in pogroms conducted by the Romanian Army, 1941; deportation to the Cernauti Ghetto; rescue from deportation to Transnistria; move to the family home outside the ghetto; life at home due to the work permits of his father and his aunt; death of his oldest brother during labor in the Ladyzhin camp; expulsion from the family home by the Romanians; transfer to the ghetto; ghetto life in an abandoned building; escape to hiding places; air-raids on Cernauti; life outside the ghetto; liberation by the Red Army, 1944. Obtaining permits to leave in the direction of Romania, 1947; move to Timisoara; aliya to Israel, 1950.
