Testimony of Moshe Polak, born in Viseul De Sus, Romania, 1928, regarding his experiences in the Viseul De Sus Ghetto and in Auschwitz and Kittlitztreben camps Life before the war; religious family with hardships; witness learns in a "heder" and attends the state school until 1940. Re-annexation to Hungary, 1940; transfer to forced labor paving a road; German occupation, March 1944; deportation to the Viseul De Sus Ghetto; deportation to Auschwitz on a train; transfer to Kittlitztreben; camp life; transfer to forced labor; disabled due to receiving beatings; evacuation of the camp; transfer of the inmates on a death march, February 1945; witness stays in the camp; liberation by the Red Army, 10 February 1945. Return to Romania, summer 1945; move to Bergen-Belsen DP camp; joins aliya training, 1946; aliya to Eretz Israel on the "Kedmah" ship, August 1947.
