Testimony of Silla Zeitl (Ptasznik) Motiletz, born in Terespol, Poland, 1924, regarding her experiences in Brzesc Nad Bugiem and Siberia German Army air-raids, September 1939; escape to Brzesc Nad Bugiem with her father and younger sister; closure of the border and loss of contact with her mother and brother; exile to Siberia; labor logging trees in forests for four years; shortage of food and clothing; her father freezes to death; transfer of her sister who was 7 years old to the school in the nearby village, and the disappearance of her sister; life alone; end of the war. Return to Poland; move to Germany; DP camp life in Bergen-Belsen.
