Deportation to Transnistria, 1941; wanderings among the villages; transfer to Secureni; transfer to Atachi, 1941; move to Mogilev-Podolskiy; transfer to Kopaygorod; transfer to Ivanovka; deportation to Zakisha; camp life including obtaining food; serving as a counselor for a group of youth, 1942; meets partisans, 1943; transfer to Zhmerinka; camp life including labor constructing a bridge, 1943; difficulties in earning a living. Return to Hotin, 1944; move to Zherebilovka, 1944; move to Bucharest, 1946; joins an aliya training farm in Iasi; aliya to Eretz Israel, 1946.
