Outbreak of the war, 1939; Soviet occupation; outbreak of the war between the Soviet Union and Germany, 1941; murder of her father and community leaders; move to the home of relatives within the Iwje Ghetto confines; ghetto life; detention of her mother during an "Aktion"; hiding in a cellar during the liquidation of the ghetto; escape under fire; being hidden by non-Jews along with relatives for payment in advance; life in a storage area behind a double wall for one year; move to a hiding place under the barn; life in hiding with ten people; liberation.
Return home; move to Poland, 1946; wanderings en route to Eretz Israel; life in a children's house in Salvino; aliya attempt to Eretz Israel; detention in Cyprus; aliya to Eretz Israel with her brother, 1947.
