Escape from the Lancut Ghetto, 1941-1942; splitting up of the family; life in hiding with her father and siblings in forests; life with her mother using a false identity; livelihood from odd jobs; escape from a village in the snow and cold; hunger; murder of her father and brother in forests; her mother keeps in contact with her children on a farm; disappearance of her mother, who was probably murdered by the Poles.
Life with her aunt; move with her younger brother to an orphanage in Rzeszow; move between orphanages in Chorzow, Bielsko and Krakow; responibilty for the orphans assumed by the government; education; aliya to Israel with the children in the orphanage, 1957.
