Annexation to Hungary; drafted to forced labor repairing railroad tracks and building bunkers; life in the Budapest Ghetto; fate of his family; transfer to the Sopron Ghetto; deportation to Schattendorf; camp life including labor as a physician's assistant; death march to Mauthausen; camp life including labor removing corpses; transfer to Gunskirchen; liberation by the US Army, 08 May 1945. Return to Cluj; aliya to Israel on the ship, "Kedmah", via a JDC camp in France.
