Life under Soviet occupation, 1939-1941; German occupation, June 1941; hiding of her mother with two refugees in a sweet shop; murder of her mother and sister during a massacre in the town; move to her uncle's home in the Nadworna Ghetto; travel restrictions and yellow badge; rescue from deportation; transfer to another ghetto in the area; escape with the help of the Judenrat; life hidden by a non-Jew; liberation, early 1945.
Detention by Hungarian soldiers; release; riots by Ukrainians; move to an orphanage in Zabze; gathering of the orphans by Rabbi Herzog and moving them to Strasbourg; aliya to Israel, 1948.
