Displays of antisemitism on the part of the Hungarians, 1943; robbery of the family home; confiscation of domesticated animals; deportation to the Mateszalka Ghetto, spring 1944; deportation to Auschwitz with her family; camp life including separation of parents from children; transfer to Oberhohenelbe; life in Oberhohenelbe in a factory; liberation by the Red Army. Return to the family home; life in the family home including help from the JDC; joins Hanoar Hatzioni; life in the Bergen-Belsen DP camp including caring for children; aliya to Eretz Israel on the ship, "Kedmah", 1947.
