German occupation, 19 March 1944; anti-Jewish restrictions including the yellow badge; deportation to the Budapest Ghetto, 10 May 1944; life in Budapest including labor in a weaving factory; robbery of valuables; receives knowledge regarding the deportation of her parents to Ujpest; transfer to a marked house, 01 September 1944; deportation to Borgond; camp life including labor digging trenches; transfer on a march in the direction of Yugoslavia, 06 December 1944; return of the group to Budapest, by request of a German commander from a Hungarian escort; life in a protected house; escape to an uncle in the Swedish Embassy; escape to the Portuguese Embassy; life under the protection of the Portuguese Embassy; liberation by the Red Army, 18 January 1945.
