German occupation, 01 April 1941; anti-Jewish legislation; concentration and registration of the youth in Liberty Square, summer 1942; deportation to forced labor in a train factory; deportation to the Thessaloniki Ghetto, 1942; unsuccessful attempt to find a hiding place at a non-Jewish female neighbors; deportation to Auschwitz, April 1943; camp life including separation from his sisters and nephew; transfer to Birkenau with his brother; camp life including labor in preparation of construction of the crematorium; transfer to Buna camp; evacuation of the camp, 27 January 1945; transfer in a death march to Gleiwitz; transfer via train in open train cars to Buchenwald; life on the train including death of inmates; camp life in quarantine; labor in metalwork; joins a group of French inmates; life with a assumed French identity with the name Sami Into; liberation by the US Army, 11 April 1945. Return to Greece; life in Greece including marriage; aliya to Israel, 1960.
